Waterside Shopping Centre, Lincoln
Footwear Department Specialist - Responsible for footwear deliveries and ensuring the department was organised ready for opening. I was Chosen from the region to set up the Doncaster Frenchgate store for reopening.

Visual Merchandising -Reviewing sales targets with the store manager, reorganising underperforming areas. replenishing best sellers. Using visual merchandiser guidance, initiative, and customer knowledge to achieve sales targets.

Buying and Merchandising Placement Year
My degree was a sandwich course meaning I worked a year in industry between my second and third years of university. I secured a 12 month placement at Yours Clothing, Head Office in Peterborough as a Buying and Merchandising Admin Assistant. I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to extend this to 14 months.

Admin Duties - Filing, Printing, Data input, use of excel.
​
Sample Management - Organising development, fit and production samples, chasing the critical path.
​
Sales Analysis - Identifying best and worst sellers weekly and seasonally, tracking weekly sales, identifying repeat orders to be placed

Styling Experience - Location shoot in London for the launch of 'Unfiltered' edit, styled the model for the day, ensured the clothing looked its best in images.
​
Communication - Chasing suppliers for shipments and deliveries from UK and overseas suppliers by email, phone and in person. Working daily with buyers, merch and sourcing teams.
​
Team Working - Liaising with buyers and merch, attending critical path meetings.
​
IT Skills - Use of excel daily, including pivot tables, internal systems used to monitor stock and sales, intake and create EAN codes.
​
Management - Trained the new placement students ready for them to take over after I left.
​
Time Management - Adapted to a fast-paced working environment, working to time based deadlines, had to ensure deliveries were on time.
